The Buyers Library
In 1966, William and Anne Buyers formed the Richard III Society of Canada. The Library was started almost immediately thereafter and has grown into a collection of more than 400 items. In 1986, it was decided to name this collection the Buyers Library. Donations are gratefully accepted, as the Society does not have the funds to make such purchases. However, please contact the Librarian before making a donation to ensure that the item will be suitable for inclusion in the Library.
Library Rules:
The Library is provided for the benefit of all members in good standing. Items may be sent by mail to members anywhere in Canada.
Requests for items should be sent to the Librarian at Librarian@richardiii.ca.
Both the number of items borrowed and the loan period is up to the discretion of the Librarian. Both depend upon how heavy the demand is for the items.
Postage must be paid both ways. After requesting the items, the Librarian will get back to you with the cost of shipping it to you.
Please return items securely wrapped against the hazards of the mail. Canadian flat rate boxes may be the best way to mail them.
Do not mark the books or papers in any fashion.
Please do not repair books but point out faults to the Librarian when returning them.
Enjoy all the items the Library has to offer and borrow often!
